Ever taken wedding pictures at DQ? I have!!!

Let me tell you all about the most chill couple that I have been able to shoot during their amazing wedding day on June 19th. I have known Haley and Braden from college and was so thrilled to have them choose me to take their pictures on their big day. The wedding was hosted in Denison, IA and I was able to arrive at 11am and go right into their first look. Haley was so emotional and joyous to see Braden and I could tell then how much love they have for one another. Haley got her beautiful dress from Wild Daisy Bridal in Dunlap, Iowa and it was absolutely stunning on her. She got ready and had her hair done at Touch of Class Salon in Denison, Iowa.

After the first look, we got to take quick pictures with their wonderful dog Toby. He was such a champ and was so excited to see his people! We pretty much cranked out their couple photos before heading over to the ceremony location. Haley did her first look with her dad at the front of the church, which is always one of my favorite moments, and then did all of the family photos!

Cue the Ceremony chimes...

Haley and Braden got married at St. Rose of Lima church and everyone was there to celebrate them. The ceremony was all about their love for each other and it was so fitting because you can see it everywhere they are. Once the ceremony was over, the bridal party went on a party bus and we stopped at a couple of places to take pictures and we even popped champagne in the middle of the road, stopping traffic! It was awesome!! Haley wanted to stop at her grandparents grave sights to take pictures, which was so sweet. After all the fun pictures were taken, we arrived at the Manilla Memorial Hall in Manilla, Iowa for the reception.

The bridal party had some fun entrances and then the bride and groom entered and everyone stood and welcomed them! Haley and Braden shared their first dance and let me tell you, it was AMAZING! Braden went to dip her and there was a lack of understanding and he almost dropped her!! It was so fun and brought on laughs which was a moment to remember! After their first dance, they cut the cake, made by Sister Sweets, located in Denison, Iowa. Dinner was buffet style, provided by Lidderdale Catering. Father/ bride dance and mother/ groom dances happened after dinner and then the fun began! Haley and Braden decided to do a dollar scavenger hunt instead of a dollar dance and it was so awesome to see people being so generous and being so involved in the game. The guarder and bouquet were tossed and the lucky girl and guy to catch them may be next.

Thank you again Haley and Braden for allowing me to be a small part in your most wonderful day: 6/19/2021
